Maureen has been teaching for over 50 years. She established “Le Mourier Swim School” in 1980 which was run in St Clements, St Saviours, St John and latterly St Lawrence
Maureen and her family have been involved in swimming all their lives in various ways. She represented Jersey in the Governor’s Cup, back in the dark ages when the only pool available was the outside sea pool at Harve des Pas! Semi-retired Maureen is still around to aid any part of the swim school and head the organisation of the schools certificates. When she is not writing certificates Maureen continues to provide her therapeutic exercise classes for adults
Malcolm has been teaching with the family for over 20 years and has experience in all fields of teaching swimming, first aid and powerboating. Malcolm has recently created Le Mourier’s ‘Motor Cruiser’ training programme that sees Le Mourier able to deliver the entire RYA Power & Motor Schemes, making us the leading school for marine courses. This can see Malcolm be in any part of the Channel Island and French Coast at any point. With this in mind though he is always on hand to answer any questions or queries.
